One problem related to hood latch has been reported for the 2003 GMC Envoy. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
A persistent high pitched rattle at various speeds. Almost sounds like front suspension problem. After months of searching by accident discovered it was the front hood latch. Greased it and problem has subsided. Neighbor with 2003 Chevrolet trail blazer had the same problem.
