I was driving 10 mph and the SUV stalled put it in park to restart and it would not start had it towed to a ex gm dealer and they replaced the switch .
I was driving about 65mph down I-35 in austin, texas and suddenly my car dropped to about 40mpg and the "stabilitrak off" message appeared. A definite safety hazard because someone could have, and almost did, rear-end me. I had to get off the freeway and turn my car off for about 10 minutes. Restarted and made it home ok. Today, August 28, the same thing happened again. . It happens without any warning. There should be a safety recall on this. I'm surprised that there has not been a major incident when this happens.

To start off, when you go in drive and start to move the truck lost power to the motor but still stayed running. Seemed like the truck didn't know if it wanted to be in 4x4 or 2 wheel. I took my foot off gas and min later it was fine. Keeps happening . The driver seat back support felt like it started to over heat the motor on it, now not working at all. And sometimes as I use my brakes and come to a stop easy it feels like I lost brakes as if abs keeps going nuts.

Thirty days later, the recall work that was performed, malfunctioned. Also, there was a problem with the brake light system. Even after changing the bulb, the rear brake lights did not work even though the light on the hatch did. The consumer stated as he entered the vehicle, while it was raining, water entered the door module, which caused it short out. Eventually, the left door lock and window controls, stopped working. Updated 06/23/14.
Purchased this vehicle in October of 2013 and now the drivers door electrical systems works intermittently. I contacted GMC because this was a recall in June of 2013. GMC told me the work was already done so to have this problem fixed I would have to pay for it out of pocket. The problem I have is they didn't fix the problem they only masked it with a cheap piece of plastic. If a vehicle has a recall and it is not fixed correctly does the company legally have to play to fix the part again because one of their dealerships was negligent in fixing the recall correctly?.

Safety issue: while driving home last night both low beam headlights went off. Pulled over and stopped the vehicle as it was dark. Turned head light switch on and off, but could not get lights to work. Bright lights worked and so did driving lights, therefore I drove on home. I checked the GMC web site and found no callbacks. However under problems with Envoy vehicles from general motors there are reports that this same electrical problem is being considered for a callback.
Wind shield wipers would go on . Now they won't go off. Engine light wont go off feels like the car is going to stall out. Mechanic said it will get worse and will start stalling out. I see a lot of complaints on these cars about the same thing I have going on. My gas gauge wont work. I brought my car for the recall for the drivers door last year and now my keys won't unlock the doors. Only the remote will open it. When I called about the doors and windows not working they said my VIN wasn't under recall I called you and you got it fixed for me. I think they need to check the electrical problems on the Envoys. I have the same complaints so something is wrong with these vehicle.
Gm has a recall out for Envoy denali driver door panels shorting out causing smoke and possible fire. This is a fact. My door did start on fire and thank god I was still in the store when it happened. Brought the truck to the dealer, dealer says "yes" this is a recall issue, gm has the dealer hold my truck for three weeks while they decide if they are going to pay for the repairs to the recall that did start on fire. After three weeks the third party representing gm calls and says "no" gm is refusing to pay for the fire damage. ???? how do you have a recall but not cover the damage if it ends up happening. September 2013 issue of consumer reports page 16 has the recall article.

GMC's campaign number is 12180 for this issue but when I called they said I would have to pay for the diagnosis and repair myself. Drivers side power window and door lock switch started rapidly clicking and smoking causing door lock control not to work and windows unable to roll down trapping passengers in vehicle. Switch started working again the next day but is now not working or partially working again. Fuse did not blow. If this switch is used by accident it will make the other window switches not work for an extended period of time and then they randomly start working again. I have searched this issue on the internet and found model year 2006 GMC Envoy and trailblazer have many reports of this issue since they were first sold in 2006 and 2007.
Drivers door main control switch for windows, locks, mirrors stopped working. No fire but I did take the switch out, now were all just waiting on gm to get there act together and some switches out to the dealers. 11/14/2012.
This is the second time my blower motor and blower motor resistor has blown out in two months. Me and my two children had to drive from alabama to virginia on our family vacation in 110 degree weather without any air. SUV smelled liked melted wires. When I took it in again to have it diagnosed. Mechanic said these keep having the same problems. This is horrible. Another repair out of state will cost me $550, GMC needs to recall these damn trucks!!!.
Fuel gauge has stopped working properly. When tank is filled, the gauge reads empty and fuel light is on. When the fuel level begins to decrease below the full level from driving the vehicle, the gauge fluctuates between the completely full mark and the empty mark. This fluctuation can occur during a trip that is less than a few miles.
When turning the key on the vehicle sometimes does not start and has twice from when I got it in Feb 2012 all the internal electronics have shut down while driving.

The low fuel level light has come on, and the tank was filled within 25 miles. Researching, I find this is a current issue with my vehicle. The fuel gauge shows empty almost all the time, and the check engine light has come on. The fuel gauge does not show correctly at all.
Drivers side power-window, door-lock, remote outside mirror control. Referring to the GMC recall of Aug 18, 2012 of replacing of the power window switch. After contacting GMC ref# [xxx], my vehicle is not in the VIN range for repair. The front windows will not go down, drivers door lock will not work, rear windows go down and up by themselves, outside mirrors change position with no intervention. Bought this vehicle new in 2006. We use it extensively as we are traveling nurses. Please look into this so we can get our Envoy repaired. Gm spokesman [xxx] stated that owners not living in the recall states will be covered by the recall. Information redacted pursuant to the freedom of information act (foia), 5 u. S. C. 552(b)(6).
While driving I turned on my left blinker to turn. The wiper came on and it sprayed windshield washer fluid. I put it back into the neutral position and they kept spraying and would not stop. I pulled over turned the vehicle off and back on. The wipers came back on immediately and continued to spray wind washer fluid. Then my speakers started to play a distorted sound. I turned off vehicle again about 4 more times and every time the wiper blades and spray came back on. I had to stay parked on the side of the road for about 10 minutes then they stopped. Or so I thought, as I started to drive and hit 20mph the wiper blades came on and it started spraying again till it finished the entire gallon of wind washer fluid. As I pulled into my drive way the wiper blades kept on cleaning with no liquid. I turned off the vehicle and the wiper blades continued for a few more seconds then stopped. This seems like an electrical problem and I am wondering what is my next step from here?.
