One problem related to driveshaft has been reported for the 1999 GMC Jimmy. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
2000 miles after the lower intake manifold gasket was replaced, vehicle spun #6 rod bearing and destroyed the whole engine. Gm is aware of thousands of complaints about the leaking intake manifold gasket. Often leads to catastrophic engine damage. Also found rusted dexcool blocking the hose to the radiator reservoir, which may have contributed to the problem.
