Turn Signal problems of the 1996 GMC Sierra

Two problems related to turn signal have been reported for the 1996 GMC Sierra. The most recently reported issues are listed below.

1 Turn Signal problem

Failure Date: 07/19/1999

The signal light had generated a lot of heat & melted the socket that the bulb was in. The bulb had blown out at the time. Taking vehicle to dealer to check & replace.

2 Turn Signal problem

Failure Date: 08/02/1996

Left turn signal is inoperative.
