One problem related to tire blowout has been reported for the 1997 GMC Sierra. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Two tires blew three hours apart causing almost $4000 damage to the truck. According to the tire tech, the third tire was not far from blowing out. (dot number: chw8 tiresize: 265/75/16).
