One problem related to frame and members has been reported for the 1998 GMC Sierra. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
While driving at 55 mph on the highway the vehicle will start to virbrate and bounce. Also, there is a problem within the frame and within the wheel base which is at a distance from the wheels in the extended cab.
