One problem related to air conditioner has been reported for the 2000 GMC Sierra. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
The air conditioner comes on when the recirculate button is selected for air source and cannot be shutoff again without turning off the engine. The dealer has replaced the control head 3times and checked the wiring but cannot find the problem so they told me that this is the way it is supposed to work.
