general problems of the 2000 GMC Sierra

Two problems related to equipment have been reported for the 2000 GMC Sierra. The most recently reported issues are listed below.

1 Equipment problem

Failure Date: 10/01/2000

The accelerator had stuck, the transmission slipped, the flaps on the fender and the door trim had fallen off, the back window leaked, the heat shield was believed to have caused a vibration in the dash-per service dealer, the coolant light stayed on, the a/c had to be repaired twice, and the rotors vibrated.

2 Equipment problem

Consumer states due to the design of the remote keyless entry transmitter, it may be possible for someone elses GMC or Chevrolet remote transmitter to disarm a GMC vehicle by using the resyncronization method, to gain access and steal contents in the vehicle.
