Two problems related to clutch have been reported for the 2002 GMC Sierra. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
I have a 2002 GMC truck. At 38,000 miles the clutch went out completely. The mechanic told me the clutch plate was ok but the 2 hydraulic cylinders needed to be replaced.
Vehicle stalls on take off, dealer cannot remedy problem. Consumer states the problem of the vehicle stalling was solved by using high octane gasoline. The clutch does not engage properly, also sometimes sounds so loose.
