One problem related to front seat belt has been reported for the 2002 GMC Sierra. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
The driver's side seat back frame failed at the welded joints. Driver was thrown to right and back while at highway speed. This component also serves as the shoulder/seat belt attachment.
