Instrument Panel Failure problems of the 2004 GMC Sierra

1 Instrument Panel Failure problem

Tl- the contact owns a 2004 GMC Sierra. The contact stated that the instrument panel failed and all of the gauges stopped working. The dealer informed the contact that the entire instrument panel needed to be replaced. The vehicle had not been repaired. The failure mileage and current mileages were 83,000. Kmj.

2 Instrument Panel Failure problem

Failure Date: 07/13/2011

Tl - the contact owns a 2004 GMC Sierra. The contact stated that while driving approximately 70 mph, all of the instrument panel lights failed. The contact mentioned that the failure would recur intermittently. The vehicle was taken to a dealer where it was diagnosed that the entire instrument cluster needed to be replaced. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The approximate failure mileage was 60,000 and the current mileage was 84,000. Kmj.

4 Instrument Panel Failure problem

Failure Date: 05/01/2006

The contact owns a 2004 GMC Sierra. The gauges on the instrument panel failed. The dealer stated that the instrument cluster failed. No repairs were made because the dealer stated that the mileage exceeded 70,000. The failure mileage was 75,000 and current mileage was 144,000. Speedometer failed. It reads slow. Updated 01-11-08.
