One problem related to power assist brake vacuum has been reported for the 2015 GMC Sierra. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
The contact owns a 2015 GMC Sierra denali. While driving approximately 70 mph, the brake pedal was applied, but failed to respond. The contact had to apply pressure to the brake pedal with both feet to stop the vehicle. The dealer (jay Buick GMC, 18800 rockside rd, bedford, OH 44146, 440-232-5000) ordered the replacement oem part; however, the contact had the brake system vacuum pump installed by an independent mechanic. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 82,000.
