While driving 40 mph consumer hit another vehicle in a front end crash. Upon impact, driver's airbag did not deploy. Consumer hit her head on steering wheel, required 6-8 stitches. Chevrolet customer service told consumer her airbag should not have deployed, her life was not in danger. Damage to vehicle was $ 7000. 00.

Dealer and GMC said there was no defect. Insurance inspector stated vehicle was hit at the center of radiator, and the air bag sensors were damaged, but no deploment.
