1 Front Suspension Control Arm problem of the 2012 GMC Sierra

Failure Date: 06/01/2015

I purchased a 2012 GMC Sierra denali from stahl motors in monterey, CA in February of 2015. They are not willing to pay for the damages to my truck even though they sold me a completely dangerous vehicle, which I will explain. My truck didn't feel right as I was driving so I decided to take it to a shop to get looked at. There is a long list of things that is wrong with the vehicle, but I will mention just the main ones. The truck was sold to me without the rear brakes hooked up. The brake lines for the rear calipers were capped off by the rear differential. When the mechanic shop discovered that, they also discovered the master cylinder was completely dry, which caused damage to my front brakes. There was no cross member underneath the vehicle from frame to frame. It was torched out, therefor leaving zero support for the frame of the truck as well as the front differential. Which needed to be rebuilt caused from excessive movement left to right. Front differential needed to be rebuilt caused from the damage of no cross member in place. Ball joints were also affected (about to pop out of control arms) due to wrong parts installed in front suspension of vehicle.

2 Front Suspension Control Arm problem of the 2000 GMC Sierra

Failure Date: 02/17/2005

I had the dealer do a schedule tire rotation, and on they way home I reached the speed of 40 mph the truck started to shake like I was going over speed bumpers. This stopped but the front end still bounces when ever you go over a series of small bumps the whole front just shakes you have to use two hands to keep the vehicle in control, don't use the brake the pedal goes soft until you are out the rough road. I have had the tires replaced and but new rims on the vehicle. The bounce is still noticeable at speeds over 40, the road does not change the effect. The crowning of the road is not the problem. The dealer says the front is tight and can not duplicate my problem so they can not fix it. The service manger says I've lowered my front end this GMC Sierra is totally oem exc for tire, and aftermarket dress. I had the truck aligned and the thrust angle was off so my son-inlaw and I did a thrust alignment first and the front end alignment. Also one of the upper control arm bolts was slightly loose, you could see the brown rusty powder around the bushing so this was loose for some time. I am a diesel mechanic so I know there is something wrong loose, or worn out that needs to be done to correct the problem, things do wear out and I do not mind paying for things to be done correctly.

4 Front Suspension Control Arm problem of the 1999 GMC Sierra

Failure Date: 04/04/2000

I have experienced excessive wearing of the front brakes, which has resulted in the rotors being replaced first, then the pads replaced 2 weeks later, and upon replacing the pads the new rotors required resurfacing. Since then after driving approx 5k miles, I was told that the new pads are appox 40% worn. I required the right front balljoint to be replaced when the rotors were done. When applying the brakes & hitting a bump in the road, the brake pedal goes down to the floor and has a complete lose of braking. It failed the annual inspection, due to a leaking donnut gasket. The tailgate squeaks & rattles, and appears out of alignment. The front driver's door creaks requiring repeated greasing. There appears to be excessive wearing in the front end and braking system, as well as excessive creaking & noise from the rear area of the truck, tailgate, and driver's door. I have been met with continued resistance and lack of answers from both the mfg and dealer. Any help or information would be appreciated.
