1 Windshield problem of the 2004 GMC Sierra

The windshield is leaking water down into the electrical system. The wiring is shorting out. Also, the linkage has fallen out. You can smell burnt wiring and smoke. The consumer has contacted the dealer several times. The dealer continuously told the consumer that the gentleman was not there that she needed to see. Consumer had someone else look at the vehicle. And was told the vibration from driving had jarred the the pin loose. The blower, heat, and the transmission failed.

3 Windshield problem of the 2000 GMC Sierra

Failure Date: 06/08/2001

I was driving at a speed of 60 mph with all windows shut and my air condition on when my drivers side ext-cab window just blew right out of the truck. The latch that holds the window shut hit one of the kids in the hand and ended up in the passenger side pocket. The window hit the side of the truck then ended up shattering in the middle of the road with traffic trying to avoid the broken glass and me pulling of to the side of the road wondering what happend. That could have caused a major accident, and the latch could have caused serious injury to a child if hit in the face. Thanks jeff.

The windshield appears to have bubbles between the glass and air is moving inside the glass, the bubbles inside the windshield are getting bigger. Nlm.

Rear windows have been replaced several times due to wind noise. Nlm.

Rear glass frame cracked from factory and replacement failed twice and had to be replaced with flat glass not the sliding glass I ordered from the factory . Both side quarter windows had wind noise and had to be replaced. S.

7 Windshield problem of the 1999 GMC Sierra

Failure Date: 01/04/2000

Excessive wind noise and air leak in both extended-cab side windows. Windows do not secure properly and dealer has refusesed to remedy the problem. This problem is common in the chevrelot equivilant of this vehicle.

While sitting at a stop sign, the side window shattered causing temporary hearing and sight impairment.
