1 Brake Sensor problem

Failure Date: 02/13/2016

Due to a problem with brake booster vacuum sensor and brake booster large vacuum leak, extra pressure is needed to apply brakes. Brakes are essentially non existent in vehicle. Problem diagnosed by dealer. Dealer states this is not a normal problem with the braking system. This is a safety issue especially when driving and this unexpectedly happens. Vehicle was in motion when this happened driving at approximately 45 mph. I understand this was a similar problem with the 2014 malibu. Replacement parts are on order unknown when expected due to this not being a part regularly replaced (per dealer).
