Tl the contact owns a 2014 GMC Terrain. While driving approximately 40 mph in the rain, the windshield wipers suddenly stopped operating. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic who replaced the windshield wiper transmission assembly. Also, while starting the vehicle, a loud noise was present coming from the exhaust. The independent mechanic diagnosed that the exhaust manifold was cracked. The exhaust manifold was replaced and the failure was remedied. The local dealer and manufacturer were not notified. The failure mileage was 70,000.
