Tl- the contact owns a 2014 GMC torrain. The contact stated that while driving approximately 45 mph a rattling noise was present coming from the engine and the message "engine oil pressure low" had displayed. After stopping the vehicle oil was discovered leaking under the vehicle. The vehicle was towed to an independent mechanic who diagnosed that the rear main engine seal had blown and the engine needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The local dealer axelrod Buick/GMC (6603 broke park rd, palmer OH) and the manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 92,000. Jft.
