The contact owns a 2016 GMC Terrain. The contact stated that while her husband was driving at an undisclosed speed, the front windshield became foggy. The driver rolled down the windows to clear the windshield and the glass; however, the windshield became foggier. The driver was able to pull over to the shoulder of the roadway and clear the windshield by hand. The vehicle returned to normal functionality, but the failure became a regular occurrence. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, who determined that the windshield was collecting excessive moisture from the air inside the vehicle but was unable to provide a specific diagnosis. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 93,000.

2 Defroster/defogger/hvac System problem of the 2010 GMC Terrain

Failure Date: 08/26/2019

The contact owns a 2010 GMC Terrain. The contact stated that upon engaging the defroster, the defroster operated with a significant delay. There were no warning lights illuminated. The dealer and the manufacturer were not notified of the failure. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The contact referenced NHTSA campaign number: 09v489000 (visibility) however, the VIN was not available. The failure mileage was unknown.
