One problem related to automatic transmission column shift has been reported for the 1999 GMC Yukon. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Noticed oil spots on garage floor. Drove to GMC dealer for repair. First repair, dealer incorrectly diagnosed problem as fuel filter leak. Second repair, I indicated that the leak was from transfer case not fuel filter. Dealer removed/reinstalled transfer case to replace defective/install a new seal ring to correct problem.
