Driveshaft problems of the 1999 GMC Yukon

Two problems related to driveshaft have been reported for the 1999 GMC Yukon. The most recently reported issues are listed below.

1 Driveshaft problem

Vehicle returned after 'fix' on 6/14 complaint: a loud thump noise at engine transmission area, then loss of power going uphill work done: lubed drive shaft (inv 412596) second time 6/20 (inv412895) complaint:cust returned for complaint of intermittent stalling and, extended starting" work done: ignition coil, ignition replace third complaint 7/18/00-7/25 in shop (inv 414264 "t5533 replace new scpi injector(s) as necessary - bad catalytic converter replaces, replace right 87wt"fourth complaint: 9/6/00 to 9/8/00 in shop (vehicle not driven between 8/2 and 8/26, in garage) "customer states engine died while driving50 mph. It lost power and seemed like no fuel was getting to engine" stated cause:50psi, low l1225 sender/pump assembly, fuel (tank unit) - repalce left tank 228 wtl 2. 20.

2 Driveshaft problem

Vehicle experienced vibration, dealer said it was fixed, however while driving on the expressway the back of the drive shaft fell down on the road. Nlm.
