1 Tire Blowout problem

Was driving on I-10 back to phoenix had past marana outside of tucson when my SUV started to tremble a little bit wondering what that was but before I can pull over the tire blew out and lost control for a second but was able to control it and get pull off to the right of the freeway. When I got off to check there was not much tire and it had made damage to the right side of the SUV now I have to take it to the insurance to estimate the damages and cost to repair it.

2 Tire Blowout problem

First there was a tire blowout, tire separated with 11/32 thread left. Second at least 1 seat belt did not hold. Third no airbags went off. Fourth the roof caved in like a "v" shape in the drivers compartment, by the windshield.

3 Tire Blowout problem

Failure Date: 01/26/2004

When driving at an undetermined speed, the right rear tire blew out. This caused the driver to pull off the road. The consumer changed the tire. The tires had 57,000 miles on them, and there were no objects on the road. The temperature was 15 degrees and there was ice on the road. The vehicle swerved from side to side. The tire had been rotated when the vehicle was 39,018.

4 Tire Blowout problem

The rear driver side tire blewout while driving 65 mph. Firestone wilderness le tire. . The gm dealer replaced the tire with another firestone tire.

5 Tire Blowout problem

Failure Date: 07/26/2003

After driving approximately 20 minutes at a speed of approx. 30 mph on a gravel road firestone wilderness p265/70r16 rear tire blew out on my '01 GMC Yukon with complete tread separation, and the radials breaking. My husband changed the tire with our spare that is the same make/model. Approx. 10 minutes later on a paved road at a speed of 45 mph, the spare blew out with complete tread separation. Our vehicle was towed to the dealership, and there was no problem found with the vehicle. They believe the tires are defective. We have replaced all four tires on our vehicle and kept the firestone for evalution and analysis purposes.

6 Tire Blowout problem

Failure Date: 12/22/2001

Braking to avoid accident and right front tire blew out, rendering vehicle unsteerable, out of control. Spun in circles and went into ditch in median of 4 lane highway. (dot number: 8x72 tiresize: p265/70r16).

7 Tire Blowout problem

Failure Date: 12/27/2000

Tire blew out on side. No puncture on the tread side. (dot number: v672 wl1 3 tiresize: p265-70r16).

8 Tire Blowout problem

Failure Date: 09/11/2000

Driving on the freeway, the r/f tire suddenly blewout without warning. ( dot number: tire size: 265/70r16 ).
