3 Automatic Transmission problem

Failure Date: 11/20/2005

: the contact stated the vehicle was unable to be placed into reverse gear. The vehicle was driven for awhile before it was taken to the dealership. While at the dealership, diagnostic tests were performed. The problem was with the reverse input piston seal. It was cut and not holding proper pressure. The seal was replaced however the vehicle was still having the problem after repairs were made. The vehicle was taken to 2 other dealerships where diagnostic tests were performed. The dealerships are unable to duplicate the problem.

4 Automatic Transmission problem

Failure Date: 11/10/2005

The contact stated when he was exiting the vehicle, with the engine off it began to roll down the driveway. He took the vehicle to the dealership, and they found the bolt that holds the shaft in the transmission was stripped. The bolt was replaced. Then, while exiting a parking lot, the vehicle shifted from drive to neutral on its own. The indicator still read drive, but would not go. He stated the steering column did register that the vehicle was in drive, and when driving over a bump, it shifted into neutral. The vehicle was taken to the dealership, they contacted the manufacturer, and they stated tissues normal. The dealership stated they adjusted cables, but the work order he received showed that nothing was done. The driver side mirror wasn't holding, it would fold. The navigation radio system was replaced. The headliner was replaced. Updated 01/23/06.

5 Automatic Transmission problem

Failure Date: 11/01/2005

Ever since I bought it in oct 2004, I felt this jumping of the truck after I stopped and started to accelerate it would do this, I called in and they told me that maybe because it was new, it may be doing that , I took it in last week because the engine light was lit and there was a strange burning smell on , it and there was also the recall of the back seats, and a light sensor loose, it was returned to me after a few days, and they said that it was because the gas cap was loose? that was the worst excuse that I have heard, I am still having that problem, but I just don't want to take it anymore because they are going to come out with the some lame excuse , and still have the problem.
