Traction Control System problem #1

The check engine/service stabilitrak/engine power reduced light comes on frequently yet the GMC dealer cannot pinpoint the problem. Potentially a connection to recall of cars equipped with heated windshield washer fluid feature. Did detect a slight odor shortly after using the windshield washer fluid and the indicator lights started flashing and the car slowed down considerably on the highway during inclement weather. Thus far nothing has corrected the problem; we are hoping to get the car back to our home state so the dealer can work on resolving this hazard.

Traction Control Light On problem #2

The contact owns a 2007 GMC Yukon denali. The contact stated that when driving at any speed or attempting a turn , the vehicle would stall with the illumination of the stability off traction light. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where the contact was awaiting diagnosis. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The current mileage was 33,450 and the approximate failure mileage was 33,000. The VIN was unavailable.
