Dashboard Crack problems of the 2012 GMC Yukon

I bought this SUV used and was toldthe dashboard cracked on its own around the passenger airbag and on the driver side over the instrument cluster! I tried fixing with super glue and it just looks terrible & a complete eyesore!! I do not know when it broke so I do not know what to put on your form except for my purchase date.

We have a really bad crack in the dash and even a piece has broken off. The dash is also separating across the front. The car was stationary and was not moving or in an accident.

Two cracks on the dash board have formed. One on the left side front of instrument cluster. The second on the passenger side intersecting the passenger airbag. Unknown if its interfering with airbag deployment.

Dash has 2 cracks. One above speedometer. The other is cracked on the top left corner of the dash that surrounds the passenger airbag. Vehicle was purchased 1/16/19. I am simply adding mine to the large volume of complaints because I believe it may be a safety hazard. Not sure how long it has been there, but this vehicle was extremely well maintained and garaged it's whole life.

The dashboard is cracked on driver side with plastic pieces falling down into dash, dashboard is also cracked on passenger side on the corner of the airbag. This is a known issue and I want it fixed. I feel that the airbags ability to deploy on passenger side is compromised if an accident occurs. I bought this vehicle with thoughts of being safe for me, my wife and two small children. Gm has said they are not going to fix it, this is my last plea for help. Replacing is expensive but feel like it's defect in vehicle design(evident by how many complaints I found). If there is a accident in this vehicle and airbag fails I will hold gm accountable for any harm caused to my family.

Dashboard has significant cracking in it after only 60,000 miles. Both on passenger side near air bag and above drivers side controls.

Cracks in dash board and they are spreading. Two cracks are above my steering wheel. One crack has spread to the airbag compartment.

Dash cracked in two places. Both spots run along the outside of the center speaker. I noticed it as I cranked my truck on flat level pavement. Since the 9th of September this has gotten worse.

My vehicle was parked in my driveway, stationary, on a suburban street in a small town overnight beginning at about 8pm on Friday August 12,2016. The following morning, August 13, 2016 at at about 7:30 am I entered the vehicle to go to the store and observed a large crack running perpendicular with the dash from near the window to a over the instrument cluster. This is a known defect with similar gm models between 2007-2013(14). The safety concern is that the poorly crafted plastic dashboard cracks easily with no pressure applied to it. This means that that in the event of a collision, with great pressure applied, the dash would disintegrate at an alarming rate and would lead to shards of plastic impailing the occupants of the vehicle with varying amounts of harm. This defect is well documented by several other gm SUV/truck owners for this year span of production.

There are two cracks in the dashboard. One small hairline by the speaker and one big one by the airbag. I am concerned that if I have an accident and my kids are in the car, the airbag will not deploy. Car was stationary when it happened.

I have a 2012 GMC Yukon denali. I've had several occasions where I'm driving and the truck turns off/or experiences a "short" for a few seconds. I have checked all electrical cables and have exchanged batteries twice (as they "drained"). A few months back my dashboard started cracking as well, first it was a small crack near the passenger side airbag. Later another crack by the steering wheel, which had now formed a large "v".

The dashboard is cracking on the drivers side instrument cover and right into the air bag dash location. Only 43,000 miles mainly garage kept and sunshade installed when out of cover. The same thing happened on a 2007 suburban.

Dash has cracked above instrument panel. Crack is approximately 6-8-inches in length. Dash is also cracked in two locations on the passenger side. I feel these cracks could be a safety concern when the airbags are deployed. These cracks occurred under normal driving conditions are not the result of a previous accident or being struck by an object.

Dashboard cracked for no reason and another crack appeared randomly within 6 months all while vehicle was stationary. Dashboard is cracking at will for no reason at all. Makes a terrible rattling sound when its hot outside; but no noise when it is cold outside.
