Brake Light On problems of the 2017 GMC Yukon

Brake lights intermittently work. Will come on sometimes and then go out. This happens when the car is still and while moving.

Passenger side rear led brake light has stopped working. It does not light up. This is a problem that has occurred in the 2015 and 2016 Yukons. I was informed by a fellow motorist that my brake light was out. The repair is estimated at $850. 00 as the whole rear light unit must be replaced.

Driver side rear brake light isn't working anymore. 46k miles on a 2017 GMC Yukon.

Brake light failure. Brake lights work inconsistently. Changing the bulb does not fix the problem. This is an electrical issue that has been reported by numerous owners. This is a safety hazard as the components have to be repaired by a technician which causes hundreds of dollars, per light. This is a defective product that should be recalled!!!.

Both brake lights stopped working at the same time. There is no fuse. Online reports show many people with the same very dangerous, huge safety issue of their brake lights failing. The car 3 years 2 months old.

Driver side rear tail/brake light goes out when open and close rear hatch. Passenger side rear has same issue which was recalled and repaired. Tap the rear quarter panel or hit a bump tail light will turn off or on.
