Cruise Control problems of the 1998 Honda Accord

Five problems related to cruise control have been reported for the 1998 Honda Accord. The most recently reported issues are listed below.

1 Cruise Control problem

Failure Date: 11/06/2006

: the contact stated while pulling into a parking spot, the driver depressed the resume button on the cruise control which reactivated the cruise control. This caused the vehicle to accelerate and crash into a wall. The vehicle was driven to the dealer who determined the cruise control worked as designed.

2 Cruise Control problem

Failure Date: 10/01/2005

Car did fine for a while then it went crazy on us. Accelerator petal sticks, brake lights don't work, horn does not work, cruise control does not work, door locks wouldn't work, front left blinker works only sometimes!.

3 Cruise Control problem

Failure Date: 05/11/2004

Vehicle lunged or accelerated upon final parking space with foot off accelerator and on brake. Car jumped over, and collided with the condominium wall.

4 Cruise Control problem

Failure Date: 02/01/1992

Fuel injection computer control unit misprogrammed. Mjs.

5 Cruise Control problem

When driving at low or high speeds and applying normal braking procedure, vehicle will shake possibly due to rotors warping. 2. After disengaging cruise control by applying brakes , it will not resume due to brake pedal sticking.
