One problem related to gas tank strap has been reported for the 1999 Honda Accord. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Fuel gauge never read full, on a full gas tank. Dealer replaced fuel sending unit, which resolved the problem. Driver's side seat belt gets caught on the release lever of the seat-back while seat belt is buckled. This severely restricts the of movement of the driver. When this happens, I am strapped very tight in the seat until I can manage to remove the seat belt part that is stuck to the release lever.
