I have an 05 Honda Accord coupe. Neither window will roll down, had the relay switch replaced but 6 months later back to the same problem. Radio would go on and off, even when car was off. Now the radio will not come on at all unless I unplug/plug the battery, then the result is only temporary. Now the cruise control button will not work. If I push it down the green indicator light comes on but the button will not stay engaged. I've seen so many of the same complaints I was sure there was a recall I missed but there isn't??!!.
Over 6 months ago, I noticed that the light which shows what gear you are in on the shift column on the floorboard wasn't staying lit. Sometimes it would come on when I started the car and other times not. Sometimes if I thumped on the shifter on purpose, it would come back on. Then several weeks ago my radio stopped working. At first there was no sound but then a very loud weird noise started happening and it is extremely loud. The only way to stop the noise is to turn the radio off. Then at other times you turn on the radio and it works fine. Not long after that I was driving one night and all the lights on the dash flicked off and on again very quickly. It did it several times during my 3 hour trip and then stopped and I hadn't noticed it again until today. Today my husband was driving and the check engine light came on and stayed on. I know sometimes if you don't click your fuel cap three times after refueling it can cause the light to come on but I have not refueled in several weeks. A few minutes later the abs light came on, went off and then came on again. Shortly after this, all the lights on the dash flashed on and off again several times very quickly. The battery is not that old and this can happen whether it's wet or dry conditions. The user manual said the check engine light is emission related but there are so many other things happening that I wonder if this is some sort of electrical problem. It is scary when it happens because suddenly all the lights on the dash cannot be seen so you can't see the spedometer needle or anything. It's ok if it happens in daylight but is truly unsafe if it happens at night.
Car refuses to start. Used a jumpstart from a friend to come home. Checked the battery charge indicator - shows green (meaning fully charged) - but car does not start with that battery. Replaced the battery with a new one and there seems to be other problems. Dashboard light seem to flicker every now and then. Not sure what the exact issue is.
I have a 2005 Honda Accord hybrid. The ima battery has spontaneously discharged. No one knows where the electrical current is going when this happens.
4/13/2007. 2005 hybrid. Consumer states that the vehicle operates with gas or the nickel-metal hydride battery pack. The ima battery leaked fumes and the fumes corroded locking the mechanism of the trunk. The door release cable for the gas door had to be replaced.
