Body problem #4

I have brought the vehicle to the dealer as well as several auto body specialists. The paint is bubbling and peeling on the driver's side door, around the gas cap and on the frame around the trunk. Several online reports have been posted online and several other models from Honda have had extended recalls on their paint warranty. The same extension should be applied to the Honda Accord and Honda should be responsible for taking corrective actions as further failure of the paint to adhere will cause significant body damage, especially for owners like me who live in an area who use salt to treat their roads.

Body problem #5

In late 2019 I noticed paint peeling around multiple areas of the car namely on the driver side, including the driver‘s door frame around the gas cap along the trim of the windshield and in areas on the trunk. I called Honda many times including emails include that included pictures of the areas. A local Honda dealership finally agreed to fix the issues of which they fixed all but one, the area around the gas cap in January 2021 within a year. The paint began to peel again in the exact same locations and they refused to fix it. I have sent multiple inquiries two Honda asking for it to be repair been denied the pictures below are the most recent photos, but I have pictures dating back over seven years of the issue if needed.

Body problem #6

Hello, good morning, I want to make a complaint, I don't know if you can help me. What happened to my car was that I bought it at a major world dealership in long island city, which they told me that the car did not have an accident or total loss report, which turns out to be a lie after a few months with the car. I noticed that the car has total damage. Hey, it even has part from another vehicle. I've tried to get him to help me, but he says it doesn't have to do with the car anymore. They also charged me a guarantee of 3,000 dollars and they do not want to cover what the vehicle has in conclusion; the car has a destabilizing rear rubber, the part of the trunk enters the water, the doors on the left side do not belong to the same VIN number of the vehicle and a no number of thing. Please, I ask you to help me since I am a young latino immigrant who wants to get ahead in the united states. Right now I am using the vehicle because I don't have to go to work.

Body problem #7

The clear coat comes off very easily, cheap paint. A 2016 car should not be having this problem so soon.

I was driving both times on the highway 40.

Body problem #9

Dropped my car off for oil change and routine maintenance. Millennium Honda service crashed my car and caused obvious damage to the front end of my car . Plastic undercarriage pieces are flying off as I am driving . Dealership is neglecting to accept responsibility and fix my repairs, which they obvious caused . After endless phone calls , talking to ever manager I can, nothing is done. I asked for pics or video of my car while in their possession but the service manager, greg andrews gave me every excuse in the book whenever I asked him for the footage .

The vehicle was taken to Honda of life (253) 922-2673 4301 20th st e, fife, wa 98424 twhere they told the contact that they could do nothing and "just except the fact that this can't be fixed". The vehicle was diagnosed. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was informed of the failure and they told the contact that "this is how the car is designed". Body problem #11

I pushed on brakes and it accelerated real fast I turn to right and it hit a fence then fence on other side of road I made this turn 3 or 4 times and then it went thru a gate and hit the back fence and the car still was trying to go cut off key.

Body problem #12

My Honda Accord v6 2016 , during rain takes in water. The vehicle starting developing a foul odor inside just after a few months of purchase. After further investigation I found puddles of water under the rear seats. I brought the vehicle to babylon Honda in new york where I purchased the vehicle from. The dealer kept the vehicle for seven days saw the puddles of water, and conducted test on the vehicle and yielding negative results. I was told they can't find where the vehicle is I taking water from. It's been a month now and the vehicle is starting to develop the same foul odor again. Let's see what Honda has to say now.

Body problem #13

Trunk opens by itself without any interaction from the key fob. This has happened on at least 5 different occasions in the past year of ownership. The vehicle was parked in front of my residence temperatures were between 40 and 70 degrees fahrenheit on the days it happened.

Body problem #14

The contact owns a 2016 Honda Accord. While reversing at approximately 3 mph, the rear bumper on the contact's vehicle struck another vehicle. The rear driver's side of the contact's bumper was bent inwardly. There were no injuries and a police report was not filed. The contact took the vehicle to the dealer where it was diagnosed that the frame needed to be repaired. The vehicle was repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 8,500.

Body problem #15

Takata recall the frame is corroded, the suspension veers to the left, windshield wipers do not provide visability, emission problems, transmission problems, front end alignment off, does not have door lock, does not accelerate past 60, car shakes.

Body problem #16

Car was purchased brand new from dealership in fort smith, ar. Upon inspection 10 days after purchase. (miles: 502) vehicle undercarriage and suspension had significant rust and oxidization damage. In this region of the united states- rust is very uncommon if not ever present, much less, on a brand new vehicle. After numerous attempts to work with american Honda and the local dealership, they claim to have exhausted all efforts and have done all "repairs" they intend to do. The work done was only surface removal and since then, a rear oil leak has developed and the back seat door panels have separated from the body of the vehicle. Let it be known that I have been without a vehicle since the beginning of this process, June 3, 2016. This is unacceptable and unbelievable that a brand new vehicle has this extent of rust damage. I am a mechanic with over 40 years of experience and have never seen this type of damage on a vehicle, let alone a new purchase. If I would have known this would even be an issue, I would have inspected the vehicle before purchase. Because of it being a new vehicle, who would have expected this problem from a trusted vehicle brand such as Honda?! I have made sure to document this thoroughly and have more than 70 photos for your review. Please contact me anytime for those or any additional documentation you might need.

Body problem #17

The contact owns a 2016 Honda Accord. While driving at various speeds, the sun shined through the front windshield and reflected off of the chrome finished console. The contact's vision was obscured. The failure recurred numerous times. The vehicle was not diagnosed nor repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 30.

Body problem #18

Partitioned side view mirrors on my sport model makes me more confused than ever. It defeats the purpose of these mirrors. Honda you make things better, how in the world you thought it makes side viewing easier/clearer. This is classic example of "improvement for the worse". Also, Honda used a cheap rearview mirror. Really did not expect this from Honda.

Body problem #19

Excessive wind noise at the b-pillar near ear-level on both the driver's and passenger's side.
