Brake light failure on exterior of vehicle. High brake light in rear window will light up, but other brake lights do not light up when brake is depressed. Took to Honda of seattle. They took electrical wiring apart and put it back together, and it worked temporarily, but they did know why it was fixed. One week later, my brake lights are out again.
The brake lights for Honda Accord '07 have lead indicator lights. It is very glaring even at day time which very irritating to the person driving behind the car. More over, it is a big safety issue for the person to drive in this situation because of this brake lights because it creates head ache. I talked many people about it, they complain the same. It should be replaced with conventional light. I am not sure if any other auto maker using this same kind of light. All this lights should be replaced with conventional brake light.

Park light didn't go off in the morning at the first start. Stop, turned off engine, restart again, release park brake, it was still on. It turned of after about 5min later. No other abnormal noticed. Brake oil level is in good. This also happened on 13th, 19th, 20th. Drove to dealer, but the light work well that day. They told me they can't do anything in the case the light work well. Call Honda company, they suggest to visit dealer. No other suggestion. Only suggest visit dealer while it is on. But it makes me feel not safe.
When the vehicle was first started, the brake light illuminated and stayed on until the pads warmed up a little. The problem has occurred more than ten times with this vehicle. Failure only occurred when it was cold outside. Consumer was informed that the failure was do to a sensor that didn't sit right and it caused the light to illuminate.
Consumer states brake lights failed. Dealer notified.
I have been rear ended at stop lights five times in this vehicle. I have been at a complete stop for each one of these. In searching for a reason for this I have realized that the 1999 Honda Accords have dim brake lights. I would like to know how to proceed with the manufacturer. This has caused multiple injuries and heartaches. I have not been at fault in any of these, and have never had an accident before owning this car.
