Led daytime running lights at the underside of the headlight have gone out. This is a safety hazard as many other cars the drls turn off before the turn signal is indicated. Can give other drivers false indication of turning possibly.

Catastrophic failure. Turned vehicle off, noticed alarm did not work. Hours later tried to enter car and noted the following: trunk will not open, doors except for driver will not open, turn signals do not work, no high beams, all mitigations systems offline, brake system failure, back up camera doesn't work. Thank goodness experienced driver could get it home and/or I was not far from home with vehicle. Said car is less than a year old and has 10k mileage.

Older people have a high end hearing loss. Hence, the driver who has the signal on cannot hear it and it misleads on-coming and following vehicles. It should be changed to a low pitch which people with hearing loss will be able to hear. Yes I know there is a flashing light on the dash but it is not like the one one that vehicle has when you move out of your lane or do not slow down for a stopped vehicle. Those give a flashing light but also a loud sound. The high pitch turn signal sound is not only a safety hazard but it probably violates the disability act. There are many people complaining on the internet. I forgot the signal was on and almost was hit by an on-coming vehicle at an intersection who thought I was going to turn. .

The contact owns a 2013 Honda Accord. While driving 40 mph, the contact stated that the turn signals failed. The vehicle was taken to the dealer for inspection but the failure could not be duplicated. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 7000.
I've had numerous incidents which can be considered close calls with Honda Accords in recent months. Besides being blinded by the high beam drls (both from the front and the rear), I have had trouble seeing usage of the Honda's turn signals. This is due to the high light density of the drl next to the small turn signals. I highly recommend that these drl be eliminated. Thank you.

The high beam drls on the Honda Accord are masking the inboard turn signals. While approaching a left turn I was unable to discern whether an oncoming Accord had its turn signals activated until very late in making my maneuver. Because NHTSA has determined that drls are of no benefit to overall safety, it should require Honda to deactivate the high beam drls on all Accord models of the current generation.

Today I almost wreck because I could not see the turn signal on a 2008 or2009 Honda Accord because of the daytime running lights. The lights are next to the turn signal and are so bright they block the turn signal flash.

1999 Honda Accord ex coupe v6 (California)
engine stalls immediately when blinker/signal lever is used, for left or right turn signal. When engine stalls, green "key" light flashes on dashboard. Otherwise, failure happens randomly. Failure has occurred both while driving at 60+ mph and while vehicle is stopped. At high speeds, engine stalls and then restarts in a few seconds. Has not occurred when engine was cold/not-warmed-up. Failure occurred about once a month at first, but in the last three months, averages about one failure a week. Failure started happening at around 70,000 miles. Car now has ~92,000 miles. Car has had one owner since purchased new. Car recieves regular scheduled maintenance. Car had complete tune-up (oil/filter,spark plugs, ignition cap & rotor, ignition wires, transmission fluid (Honda), air filter, fuel system cleaner, etc. . . ) after first failure. Alternator failed and was replaced many months after "stalling/blinker" failures first occurred, and had no apparent affect on stalling problem. Stalling still occurs, and have no idea what cause is.

Consumer stated the turn signals did not cancel when switching lanes on the highway. They didn't cancel without an abrupt movement.
