1 Tail Light Switch problem of the 2006 Honda Accord

Failure Date: 06/01/2018

Tail lights stopped working, passenger and both back windows wont roll down. . . From forums I've read this is common. Honda needs to issue a recall and fix this for everyone!! also anyone else have to replace wiper linkage due to the excessive windshield wipers when they slam down, they've done this since bought the car off the lot brand new!.

2 Tail Light Switch problem of the 2004 Honda Accord

Failure Date: 06/01/2011

Major electrical problems began about 2 years ago. Radio display won't light, but radio/cd still plays; air conditioner cools intermittently, though compressor is working and freon is adequate; tail lights sometimes work, sometimes don't; ignition switch makes a noise as though the engine was already started when I turned the key, even though it wasn't - eventually the ignition switch had to be replaced (problem still occurs from time to time); brake calipers have always pulsed no matter how slow I come to a stop; and airbag light comes on for no apparent reason as there is not hindrance to the sensor switch mechanism below the seats.

7 Tail Light Switch problem of the 2008 Honda Accord

Failure Date: 06/30/2008

Purchased new 2008 Honda Accord 4cyl. In June 2008. After a week I drove the vehicle at night and noticed that the headlights and tail light momentarily dim every 30 seconds or so. Called the dealer and was told to bring the vehicle which I did. They ran diagnostic test and I was told every is functioning as designed. After doing a google search "Honda headlight dimming" I came upon several forums that host a number of complaint from 2008 Honda Accord owners who have the same problem. Your web site shows at least 76 complaint for the same issue. My concerns are this:1. ) no other car has this feature design causing the headlights and tail lights to dim . 2. ) on coming traffic thinks that they are being flashed causing many to gesture. . . . 3. ) cars in font think that they are being flashed w/ high beams. 4. ) very distracting to the driver 5. ) cars behind you think you are tapping the brakes. 5. ) some one passing you may think that you have flashed them to come back into the lane prematurely. I could go on and on. This is very dangerous and not normal. Please help. There have been successful lemon law suits filed against Honda due to this issue. You are our government, your only purpose is to serve the people. Please start an investigation into this potentially hazardous situation where a innocent driver is going to get hurt or killed by either another driver from road rage or a trucker that thought they were given the clear signal after passing to come back into the lane only to rub over a Honda Accord driver.

8 Tail Light Switch problem of the 2008 Honda Accord

Failure Date: 12/05/2007

2008 Honda Accord. When the compressor comes on or the fan for the radiator the headlights and tail lights dim and then brighten back to normal. This occurs about every 30 seconds and is annoying as well as a safety issue. When driving on the highway at night with a car in front of you and the headlights blink the person may believe you are flashing your headlights at them. This problem is noticable to passengers as well. I have had many comments made asking why I do not get this fixed before some road rage occurs. I spoke to Honda corporate and the dealerships and I have been told this is normal for the car, therefore there is not a fix available. This problem is all over the internet and do not know why nobody that can resolve the problem is.

9 Tail Light Switch problem of the 2008 Honda Accord

Failure Date: 12/05/2007

I own a new 2008 Honda Accord ex 4-cyl. When the a/c is on, my headlights, running lights and tail lights flicker dim to bright approximately every 40 seconds while at idle and while driving. This is a major concern and should be corrected. I will contact all insurance companies concerning this.

10 Tail Light Switch problem of the 2007 Honda Accord

Failure Date: 09/06/2007

I am an otr cdl-licensed driver, and, on more than a few occasions over the past 6 months, I have observed several models of Nissan and Honda vehicles cruising at dusk with their dash lights on, but with no exterior marker, parking, tail, or headlights burning. They are virtually invisible, especially when mixed in with other normally-illuminated vehicles. When alerted as they pass by horn and flashing lights, the driver's usual reaction is to slam on the brakes, and then turn on the headlights. If the headlight switch is configured to actuate the dash lights separately from the exterior lights, that is a definite safety problem. The problem also may be with the allowable threshold sensitivity of the twilight sensor.
