My vehicles cruse control, lane departure, collision warning and lane assist completely stopped working after being parked (stationary) in my driveway, vehicle has always had problems with front suspension since new and become unstable with braking hard if another driver cut me off having to apply brakes or when applying brakes down hill. . Vehicle was taken to deal for front suspension but never fixed after multiple attempts under warranty. . The latest issue with driver safety system is a manufacturers failure as these are features supposedly to prevent accidents and so fourth on public roads and highways. My vehicle is just over 4 years old and maintained and serviced to manufactures specification. In researching thru the web I found Honda owners having this same issue with their vehicle. I believe Honda should recall and fix these problems on their vehicles computer / software or sensors for public safety. Part of the weather door window stripping is also deteriorating.

The vehicle had a sudden loss of function 1. Road departure mitigation 2. Collision mitigation 3. Adaptive cruise control 4. Braking system the vehicle was in motion at speed of 10-40mph, with air temperature of 28-32 degrees and snowy conditions. Honda has repeatedly refused to investigate numerous, potentially sw/hw - related issues that have been manifesting themselves in other parts of the vehicle. What happened today was a new set of symptoms, but with much higher severity and no obvious precedent. I have already had to disable the lane departure and the collision avoidance systems on this vehicle due to their erratic behavior. However, in this case the messages that have come up (will attache photos) demanded that the vehicle be taken to the dealer and the errors and message did not go away upon multiple restarts of the vehicle. Upon arrival to the dealer, it was indicated to me that Honda is aware of some of the other issues I've been experiencing with the vehicle and still (months hence) does not have a fix, and that Honda has, essentially, been resorting to testing their vehicle on the customers, instead of more rigorous pre-release testing, instead choosing to use the dealers as a quasi-test/r&d department. The multiple safety system failure I experienced today is a pretty clear indication of that. I have filed another complaint with nthsa related to the other issues and would urge you to initiate a recall on all of the Honda Accords (and possibly odysseys and pilots as they share some of the sub-systems) for the 2018, 2019 and the coming 2020 models.

Since I got the car in 2016 the radio has been freezing then going completely black while driving. My battery has died multiple times without leaving anything on or open. I'm currently sitting in the parking lot after just starting my car and moving it to another parking spot, came back to start my car and go home and the battery was faintly trying to start and then completely died. My car won't start and the radio screen is white. Now is making a clicking sound without touching anything.
Collision mitigation system failed, brake light is on, adaptive cruise control system warning is on.
Tl the contact owns a 2013 Honda Accord. While driving at an unknown speed, the forward collision avoidance warning indicator illuminated. The vehicle was taken to john eagle Honda of houston (18787 northwest fwy, houston, TX 77065, (281) 528-1165) where it was diagnosed that the vehicle stability assist modulator needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not contacted. The approximate failure mileage was 118,000. The VIN was not available.

My vehicle died going up a small hill for no reason. . . . Like it stalled but I had to restart the vehicle. . . Also the stereo doesn't work I think it could be electrical or the ignition switch? seen on youtube I'm not the only one that this is happening to. It stalls almost and doesn't propel in fifth at I have to down shift and go back to 5th and tei again. . . Sometimes it works other times I try 2 or three time to keep it accelerating. The hill thing was scary. What did it mean?.

The brake system alert is flashing on the dashboard while vehicle in motion and there is no break issue. It appears to be a flawed collision mitigation brake system sensor as this keeps flashing across the dash in big bold letters and wont go off. I just bought this vehicle brand new 5 months ago. When turning car off and back on the message is still there and wont go away.
Vehicle crash avoidance system erroneously applies brakes when no vehicle is in front of the vehicle and causes near rear end collisions while moving on local or interstate roads. This has been occurring since the vehicle was delivered new.
In the last year my car has not turned on 3 times. When I push the start button it just clicks and all the warning lights come on. Only after many attempts and waiting more than half hour it finally turns on with all warning lights. In July, we changed the battery. Thinking this might be the problem. It was not. Again today the car would not start and all the warning lights are on. I took it to the dealer who is charging me $150!to do a diagnostic check. I purchased the car in 2015 brand new. It currently has 35k miles. A car with few miles and only 4 yrs old should not be giving any problems. Even less having to pay for a diagnostic or manufacturing related problems.

After being parked in a friends driveway for several hours I proceeded to open my car and drive home. First remote control would not open doors, after several tries it open the driver door only, upon turning ignition on a series of warning indicating the adaptive cruise control system automatically disables itself, all collision mitigation functions stop working, series of warning see pics appear on display to see dealer, all windows and truck will not function, turn signals and brake lights, rear view camera do not function, brake system msg appears on display. Turned off and on car with no success in restoring all functions as on two previous occasions. Drove car for 4 miles in this state felt it was dangerous for us and other drivers. This morning all has restored to normal. Called Honda dealer in el monte CA. Was told they did not know anything about this type of problem, was not able to book service call until middle of next week in researching online found Honda service bulletin 19-051 describing a software update to car modules to fix this problem. I believe that is really should merit a recall as it interferes with the safe driving of the vehicle. A recall will force Honda to inform its service dealers and instruct them on a prompt scheduling of required software upgrade to resolve this software defect affecting drivability of their flagship car.
Vehicle had issues cranking and the display had every error code flashing one after the other. After going to the dealership we were told that it was the fuel pump. It was replaced in July. The exact same issue has happened again in October if the same year and we are being told that it is the fuel pump again.
I drove my car for 10 minutes and then stop at the gas station to put some gas then after I tried to turn it on again but my car will not start and then after waiting for more than 30 minutes he did finally start but all the lights were still on then I drove it for another five minutes and stop the car to park and then wait for five minutes and then the car start again but the lights were off this time I'm not sure if this is safe but it's been doing this for more than three times already I don't know what to do.
My 2018 Honda Accord sport crash mitigation system is not working correctly at highway speed with no vehicles around the brakes apply hard at times taking the car from 65 miles an hour down to 40 mph in just a few seconds on one occasion I almost got rear ended by a tractor trailer Honda says there's nothing they can do about it.
I was driving on the highway in my new 2019 Honda Accord which is just at it's 3768 miles, and the adaptive cruise control system, collusion mitigation braking system and road departure system failed. It showed a message to take it to the dealer. Upon restarting the problem seems to be solved. I got the car couple of months ago, so I have their may 2019 software update which supposedly would fix this problem with 10th gen Accords, but it didn't. The dealers and Honda corporate keep responding that Honda doesn't have a fix for this problem yet, which is going on for over a year now for many owners, which can easily be found by a google search. Please help us.

Takata recall my complaint is about abs pump anti-lock brake part modulator assembly sedan cvt fits 13 Accord 503036 the lights are on in the dashboard and in the dealer told me to replace that part.
In first 11,000 miles of car. Cmbs system has slammed on brakes @ speeds of ~70 mph on highway. You can manually turn cmbs off, but you cannot turn it off permanently. I worry that I will forget to turn it off one day and it will cause me to get rear ended.
Honda's collision mitigation system shuts down, disallowing cruise control and all safety features that are included in the collision mitigation system. Dealer cannot find cause. Turning off the car and restarting it resets it, but when it turns off, there is no clear factor as to why it happened. There is a safety risk if you are using cruise control, as it could fail to brake when the car in front of you slows down. It has happened 4 or 5 times in the past 8 months since I bought it brand new.
I was driving at the speed of 45 mph in city street area when vehicle sensor to break suddenly appeared causing the vehicle to make a complete stop in the middle of the street, there was no signs of pedestrians or any vehicle to cause the vehicle sensor to turn on and break. The vehicle drove as normal after the complete stop and breaking sensor appeared.
While driving the car at 65 miles per hour, vehicle auto braked suddenly causing car from behind to near miss my rear of my vehicle. Car the alarmed on abs, stability control, lane departure, forward collision, adaptive cruise, braking, power steering, vehicle stability and hill start problem. Took car to middletown Honda of NY. Dealer identified problem as vsa module failure. Cost to replace is $1550. 00 plus labor. Vsa module failure is a common problem and should be identified as a safety recall. Car that nearly hit me was driven by off duty police officer who was not happy. Took car immediately to dealer for service. Dealer did not have part to correct problem. Dealer demanded that car remain at dealer due to being unsafe to drive. Dealer was kind enough to give me a loaner car until repairs can be made. This is a serious safety issues!.

On going starting problem. For the last several month every time in the mornings it hesitate to start. Sometime it take seven or more try to get the car started by putting in to neutral, turning the steering wheel, pump the brake etc. Don't know why and how and who will be responsible to correct this problem?.
2015 Honda has intermittent issues with starting. I hear a click and then it doesn't start. My radio shows and so do my dash lights. It doesn't seem to be resetting my radio clock. I plug a jumper pack in and it immediately starts. I took it to autozone and my battery is 100%. I took it to the Honda dealership and they state that my battery, starter, and alternator are working great. They say there is nothing wrong with my car, but once I leave to stop in to a store for 10 minutes, it suddenly won't start again. It is happening just out of the warranty period. I bought this certified used in June last year and this is my third battery. I am jumping my car regularly each day as I drive around.
The yaw sensor went out on the stability control system, out taking everything with itabs, stability control, forward collision, lain watch, and the power staring monitor. You could feel the abs motor working for no reason even without braking. Honda replaced the abs control module to fix the problem. My concern is as expensive as it was, I'm worried others will not be able to afford the fix and we will have other cars out there without the basic safety systems in place.
With only less than 800 miles on the car, my 2019 Honda Accord vsa modulator (which was diagnosed by the dealership) failed. I felt the car begin to bog on the highway right before we were on the exit. Then, the gas pedal stopped working properly and the car lost speed. I would press hard on the gas pedal and the car would take about 3 seconds before it started to move forward, jerking in the direction I intended it to go. After struggling a little while, I luckily pulled over and called a tow truck to send my car to the dealership. I felt that I was very lucky to be able to safely pull over. 1st, it happened during an early Sunday morning with heavy rain, so there was not much traffic. 2nd, the event occurred right before we were going to exit the highway with only a few hundreds of feet to go. Also, it's in my hometown and I know the road very well. Otherwise, an uncontrollable car could cause very serious accident. If we were to crash, the event would likely be attributed to driver fault - since it is such a new car - rather than a crucial car part failing, which could cause death to many others who buy new Honda Accord 2019s. Therefore, I believe that this issue should not be taken lightly and should be further investigated.
Honda Accord 2016 eps system lock power sterling wheel during drive. Lucky, I can slow down and shut off the engine to avoid accident. This vehicle just 34600 miles and day purchase just expired 30 days. Honda should fix this issued more than warranty and avoid people in danger with this type issued in future.
Collision mitigation braking system problem which causes the adapted cruise control to deactivate itself all of a sudden when driving in high or low speed traffic, happens on highway or regular street, all kinds of weather conditions from rain to sunshine. Very scary especially while going on I-95 in high traffic that is all moving very fast. Has happened at least a dozen if not more times and the dealership could not find a resolution. Taking it again next Wednesday 5/15/19.
Catastrophic failure. Turned vehicle off, noticed alarm did not work. Hours later tried to enter car and noted the following: trunk will not open, doors except for driver will not open, turn signals do not work, no high beams, all mitigations systems offline, brake system failure, back up camera doesn't work. Thank goodness experienced driver could get it home and/or I was not far from home with vehicle. Said car is less than a year old and has 10k mileage.
Check engine light came on, car acts like it has no power on take off, shifting hard, once up to maybe 40 mph car begins jerking and the a/c and heat stopped working correctly at almost the same time within a day or two. I can turn the air on and it will blow for maybe 20 seconds then just completely stop blowing which being it all happened at practically the same time is fishy to me. The car only has 156k miles and I can't afford to continue making payment and pay a couple thousand to get it fixed. This is crazy I thought Honda was supposed to be a great car.

I have had the vehicle in the shop numerous times for not being able to open the gas tank to fill up the car. Seals coming off the doors. Entertainment system quit working and not responding. Now the vehicle slams on its breaks for no reason when no vehicles are around. Also the vehicle departs it's lane when it is supposed to keep me in it. Also the vehicles brakes grind when I step on them. Also the car makes a grinding noise when I step on the gas pedal and the vehicle sometimes stays in 4000 rpm when driving done the road. Also when driving down the road and going 70 mph and I step on the breaks the whole car sometimes shakes and doesn't stop when needed. It started with issues when I got the vehicle not much later. It current only 17800 miles on it and I shouldn't be having these issues.
During stop and go traffic, car braked causing the person behind me to rear-end me. This had happened one other time before, luckily the car behind me wasn't following too closely and I was going less than 30mph. A couple weeks after that while going highway speeds and wet road conditions, a warning light came on stating there was a problem with the collision mitigation braking system and to see dealer. Once that warning comes on cruise control also disengages. This warning light has come on one other time, while driving highway speeds with dry road conditions. If the car is restarted the warning resets and all systems are up and functioning again.
While driving on the freeway, the vehicle front collision system stopped the car randomly causing a potential hazard. It is doing it intermittently with nothing in front of the vehicle.
On multiple occasions, while driving on the highway, my 2018 Accord has unexpectedly braked when there was no object/car in front of me. When there is car stopped in front of me, the sensors do not kick in for emergency assisted braking. Something is definitely not right with this car.
Collision mitigation braking system goes out for no reason and shuts off automatic cruise control. Have to restart car to reset. Has occurred on three occasions. I have 10,000 miles on the car, but don't use acc much since most of my driving is in the city. Happened on long distance trips on freeway. Going 70 mph.
Recall vehicle was stationary at a gas pump.
Tl-the contact owns a 2018 Honda Accord. The contact stated that he had been rearended twice and the vehicle had an autobrake feature that worked. There was a piece on the center console that had become dislodged that trapped his foot on the gas pedal. This happened on both occasions of the vehicle being rearended. There were no injuires and no police report was filed. An insurance claim was filed both times. The vehicle was able to be driven from the sceen with no towing needed. The dealer Honda of downtown chicago 1111 n clark st ste 2, chicago, IL 60610 (312) 766-1095 had the bumper, light and the onboard computer repaired both times. The issues recurred with the the blindspot monitoring ,the backup camera and the parking sensor on the onboard computer malfuncting after the vehicle was repaired . The vehicle was taken back to the dealer and all of those issues were fixed except the center cosole piece that keeps dislodging. The manufacturer said to take the vehicle back to the dealer to get the issue fixed. The console piece remains unfixed at this time. The failure mileage was 9,000. Tf.
