I believe the airbags should have deployed. Maybe its a sensor thing as well because a while back my side airbag light would go on and off but it stopped. Anyway the ending of the crash, I lost control and smacked into a rail head on. Also causing my face to smash into the wheel busting my lip. Required stitches. Everyone. The tow people and police report thought it was undrivable. Because the frame was bent on the hood. My bumper was hanging on to the screws on the front so both sides were dragging. Radiator bent in half because that metal bar, behind the front bumper, bent into it.

I accidently hit a curb on a dark road making a right turn after a stop and 1 second later side curtain airbags deployed. So I was less than 5mph there is no exterior damaged just hit the curb with the rear right wheel. Tire is perfectly fine. This should be a safety concern because airbags can cause serius injuries. They are too sensitive.

We had a car accident on christmas due to ice on the road and ended up hitting 2 telephone poles! none of the airbags deployed at all! we hit the poles head on! I have had the airbags fixed from the recall and never been in another accident to have to have airbags fixed so there was no reason them to noy deploy!.
Honda extended a warranty for 2006-2008 Civics to replace defective engine blocks. I have a 2008 Civic that has very low mileage so I was unaware of this issue until now. They will not honor their replacement warranty, nor did the dealership say anything to me when I had my car serviced there several times a year since 2015. Why would they not say something? now I'm left with a car that is useless and I bet the dealership I have purchased more than 5 cars from will take it as a trade in. It was in motion parked to go in the store and came out to all of my antifreeze on the pavement. Had to limp it some so it wouldn't cause more damage.
I got into an accident and my air bags never deployed.

My front bumper was pushed in and the hood of my car was bent in half. None of my airbags activated. My car was towed to service king located in moore, oklahoma where the damage was assessed and reported to state farm auto the car was totaled. I didn't know where to report the airbags until I saw a story on our local news about NHTSA to investigate 30 million vehicles for defective air bag inflators. That is the purpose of this message. Several months before my accident, I took my car into eskridge Honda in oklahoma city due to an airbag recall. They checked and replaced the front passenger airbag saying the rest of the airbags were fine. I went to a mechanic today, I have passenger airbag off light flashing he told me Hondas have recalled for airbags in dealerships so I checked my vehicle report it says that I had 2 recalls in 2019 and I did them but I didn't. recall subject: air bags: passenger side frontal report receipt date: 06/27/2019 NHTSA campaign: 19v502000 I believe I had that problem when I bought my car, my passenger lights off blinking while I'm driving even tho no passengers there. So I was trying to check my recalls on the Honda website it shows that I don't have any. Also, I have a problem when I do reverse engine light starts flashing p0812 code but no problems except code.
The tpms ligh does not turn off after checking it. I have 5 recalls for airbag at the passenger seat that I did not know of.
Horn randomly going off, while stationary and while driving. Its a steady beep as if someone is laying on the horn. This past Saturday the horn was going off for hours until I returned home. I had to get in the car and tap the steering well and it stopped. It went off again this morning. A mechanic said that its the airbag pushing pressure on the horn. This has been going on a month or so.
**airbags deployed after driving over pothole** I drive a 2008 Honda Civic 2dr with 160k miles. On March 15, 2018 I was traveling northbound I-294 when my vehicle collided with a pothole at approx. 65 mph and the driver curtain and driver seat airbag deployed. The impact wasn't hard enough to damage my wheel or body of the car. The pothole should not of interrupted the srs system. This is a result of a defect in Honda's air bag/restraint system.

Takata recall" I just purchased this 2008 Honda Civic from a local used car dealer. This recall has not been corrected on this vehicle according to the recal information I received when I put the VIN # into the system. Should the car dealership have checked this out before selling it. I know I can take to Honda dealership to have it fixed. I was just wondering what the responsible of the car dealership I purchased it from. Thank you beverly breeden babreeden@att. Net.
I was contacted last summer (2016) regarding a recall on my airbag via a letter in the mail. I called to make a repair appointment with my local Honda dealer, they told me they didn't have the replacement parts in yet and they would call me back when they arrived. I called again in the fall (2016) and was told more or less that they were "busy" and had a lot of cars to repair and I should continue to wait. I called again in the fall 2016 and was told the person handling the airbag recall was busy or unavailable and to call back again. I've received a second notice in the mail in April 2017 regarding my air bag recall. This notice says that if the Honda dealer has failed or unable to remedy the defect in my vehicle without charge within a reasonable period of time (60 days) I can file a complaint. It's approaching nearly a year since I was first contacted and I tried to make an appointment three times with my local Honda dealership to have this air bag replaced. I feel I've been very patient with this recall, as I've had other items recalled over the past year and replacements were made for those items in a much more reasonable amount of time. I find it unacceptable to be put off and told Honda is too busy to make a safety feature repair anything but a top priority.

Takata recall. I received a letter July 2016 about the recall. I called my local dealership, performance kings Honda and was told I was "on the list. " I called back today, 11/11/16, and was told that they do not have the part to fix it and wouldn't have it until June 2017. I look on your website and see that all these recalls are being fixed. . . Why is it that performance kings Honda will not have the part in until 2017? that is too long to wait. I have to drive clients as part of my job and am risking the safety of others and myself.
I have had to have the sun visor/airbags on my 2008 Honda Civic replaced 3 times because something keeps popping in them. Honda replaced the first 3 times under warranty. The fourth time it popped, Honda said that they were out of warranty and they would not replace them for free. I feel Honda should still be responsible for the replacements, as they keep replacing the sun visors with the same old crappy ones that break within 2 years. Hopefully, we can get Honda to take the responsibility for knowingly replacing the parts, with parts they know are defective.
