Airbag light comes on intermittently. Told by Honda dealer that this is due to seatbelt part that is faulty on the driver's side. Is this part of a recall? I bought the car in 2017 and I am not sure what recalls have been missed.
Air bag light come on/off at will, dash light stop working, and the gages stop/glitch at will when it is eather hot/cold/normal out side. And this all happened stationary, in motion, on a city street, or a highway, turning, braking, etc. And it is a problem that created the unsafe condition. I took my car to get serviced and to have the airbags replaced following the recall. I was told that the airbags were replaced, but they were never in fact replaced. The airbag light continues to come on and I am continuing to receive notices from Honda that my airbags have not been replaced. I would appreciate to have a truthful answer and to have this situation fixed!.

The contact received notification of NHTSA campaign number: 17v029000 (air bags); however, the part to do the repair was unavailable. The contact stated that the manufacturer exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 60,000. Air bag light on dashboard comes on intermittently. My vehicle is on safercar website citing the problem. Honda has yet to recall this vehicle. A letter was sent to Honda addressing this issue. Honda needs to take responsibility.
On start up, air bag light stayed on. Brown Honda of charlottesville, va, diagnosed it as a bad air bag srs unit (code 53-93), a bad left side impact sensor (1st)-code 43-11, and a probable lf harness problem. The problem has not been resolved as yet.
