Takata recall: my wifes Honda airbag light has come on twice already, once while driving and once while parked. I caled Honda dealer and they said not to worry about it the vehicle is safe to drive. They cancelled my appointment to do the recall. Do we have to wait until my wife or myself gets hurt or killed before something gets done?? I believe Honda should at least provide a rental vehicle until this gets fixed. If Honda keeps denying to fix or stalling to get my wifes Cr-v taken care of, I will be forced to take legal action.

9 Air Bag Light On problem

Failure Date: 07/22/2009

Head on collision with another vehicle, both doing at least 50 mph. Airbag didn't deploy. Vehicles involved were my 08 Honda crv and a 95 Chevrolet camaro. Car was taken to body shop with $9,000 in damages. Once repaired, air bag light was on. I was told by body shop it needed a new sensor, new abs valve and seat belt buckle. Honda dealer is trying to say I was hit too high for the sensors but I was hit hard enough to bend the flanges on the side frame rail 4 bolt mount. Honda dealer doesn't want to discuss with me.
