Correct me please if I misunderstood.

Takata recall: this is regarding a 2007 Honda Element. We have not owned this vehicle since 2007, and probably traded it on another car. It's bern such a long time, we do not remember which dealer we dealt with. We have received numerous recall notices from Honda, and each time, by phone or response card, have informed them that we no longer own the car. Please update your records, and take us off of the notification list. We will no longer respond to notices regarding this car. It's annoying that Honda is unable to update their records with our numerous contacts with them. Thank you.

The police even commented on it. Her car may be unfixable we will know soon. We want to report this for others safety.

20 Air Bag problem of the 2006 Honda Element

Failure Date: 07/03/2018

This is to report air bag deployment while driving. Had to brake to avoid tree branch. No damage to car other than the tore sit and opening of bag. I had damage to right side of arm being that it happened on driver side. I am concerned that this might happen to other vehicles as well. My car is a bit old, but in good working conditions we have taken care of it. However, should I be worry that this might happen again. I have been reading some of the postings in websites and it seems to happen often. I would advise NHTSA to look into it. Please keep us informed and if ever there is a recall please inform the public.

21 Air Bag problem of the 2003 Honda Element

Failure Date: 05/19/2018

Takata recall: I sold this vehicle (2003 Honda Element) in early 2011. When the airbags were recalled, I began receiving notices form Honda about the recall. I have returned the mailings and also called the 800 number (at least 4 times in total), each time letting them know that I no longer own the vehicle. I continue to receive recall notices, despite notifying them that I am not the owner. This would point to the fact that the actual owner of the car is not receiving notices. If Honda is not accurately updating their database, owners at risk from this recall may be oblivious to it.
