Odometer/fuel gauge have started to display random characters. At first it was intermittent and in really cold weather, and would sort itself out after 5-10 minutes. But it has become more common as soon as the car starts and now will not sort itself out. There is no access to the car's mileage or to even know how much gas is left in the tank. This seems to be an issue with the 2015-2016 Honda Fits, but Honda is not regarding this as an actual issue/under warranty even though there is a defect.

The fuel guage is non-linear, ie when it says you have a half of a tank, you really only have 1/8 or 1/4. Seems silly in this day and age of computer controlled stuff I have to remember I really don't have that much fuel and I could easily get stranded.
