In short: the fender spat fasteners fell off causing the spat to fly off the car. The car is advertised to be made of non-oxidizing metals, the spat fasteners; however, do rust. They are a quick release fastener (not a bolt and nut). I am concerned that the skirt will fall off and hit a car or motorcycle and cause an accident. I have notified Honda about my concerns.
