Tail Light Switch Problems of Honda Odyssey

The reverse tail lights fill up with water when it rains. I have had it fixed, but 2 years later they are filling up again.

Rear passenger side tail light assembly fills half way with water. Had it replaced about 5 years ago at my expense, happneded again. Sounds like a design flaw.

Subject: 2008-2009-2010 Honda Odyssey tail light defects comments: 2008-2009-2010 Honda Odyssey tail lights are susceptible to water penetration which will eventually short out the tail lights. This applies to the portion of the tail light which is attached to the rear hatch door. Water accumulates in the white part of the lens which is at the bottom of the tail light in these model years (I. E. , the back up lights). There is apparently a design or manufacturing defect in the sealed light system. I have had both tail lights replaced in my 2010 Odyssey due to water penetration & collection. I have photographic evidence to support this claim.

I am having condensation of water collect and filling up the left back up light of the tail light.

Right tail light filled with water, requiring replacement. Now the left one is full of water too. Vehicle stationary when water observed each time, of course.

Rear right side tail light developed an interior crack in it and there are no scratches or dents indicating someone hit it. Honda saw the damage when it was brought for regular service and refused to fix it saying that its our fault that the taillight cracked. The manager pressed on the crack which made it come all the way through. The car is hardly driven only for family trips and is hand washed, waxed, covered and before being placed in the garage for storage after each trip.

I have 2007 Odyssey ex-l with dvd. The light in car like head and tail light, room light etc is blinking all the time even I drive my car. I already went to dealer ship two times, they just take a look at the battery during the day time and said everything looks fine. At night, my boy can't read a book in the car because of blinking. It looks the generator has problem.

Rear tail light lens are cracking after only 3 years. The cracks are starting at top edges and are within the plastic. Honda said they are out of warranty.
