Three problems related to brake master cylinder have been reported for the 1998 Honda Passport. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Master cylinder completely went out, and brake pedal went down to the floor. No prior warning.
Braking system malfunctioned, causing extended stoping distance which amy result in a crash. Also, brake master cylinder/front and rear brakes and rotors became inoperative, please provide further information.
Vehicle experiences extended stopping distance when brakes applied. Dirt/dust in brakes causing brakes not to stop. Dealer cannot duplicate the problem after changing the master cylinder.
