One problem related to tire blowout has been reported for the 1998 Honda Passport. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
While traveling on interstate 81, the right, rear tire had a blowout. It was found that the inside of the tire had extensive peeling around the entire side, exposing threads, etc. There was enough loose tire debris to overfill a cup inside the tire.
