One problem related to tire blowout has been reported for the 1999 Honda Passport. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
There was a noise, thern about ten seconds after the tire blew. The tread came completely off, with the side walls about 50% intact. The tread was still completely intact and retained its shape. ( dot number: tire size: p245/70r1s ).
