The contact was informed that the frame, which was connected to the brackets, was severely rusted, corroded, and showed signs of breakage. The dealer would not repair the frame because it was not covered under the recall. The contact also stated that after the recall repair, fuel would leak from the bottom of the fuel tank while refueling.
