Brake Master Cylinder Problems of Honda Passport

Prior to 1st incident, noticed spongy non-responsive brakes at all speeds. As the problem progressed, the brake pedal would go down to the floor and brake distance increased. On 3 occurrences, I experienced near collisions. I first noticed the problem on June 29th, 2001. Second incident occurred without notice as I was pulling out of a parking lot at approx 8 miles/hr. First, I heard a sound as I was slowing down to approach the signal. Then, the abs went off for approx. 5 to 10 seconds and during that time, I was not able to stop. I proceeded to turn right at the red signal with no other option available to me at the time. From there, I took the vehicle to suburban Honda where I originally bought and serviced my Honda Passport. Please note that the abs indicator light came on the night before the 2nd incident.

Master cylinder completely went out, and brake pedal went down to the floor. No prior warning.

Braking system malfunctioned, causing extended stoping distance which amy result in a crash. Also, brake master cylinder/front and rear brakes and rotors became inoperative, please provide further information.

Vehicle experiences extended stopping distance when brakes applied. Dirt/dust in brakes causing brakes not to stop. Dealer cannot duplicate the problem after changing the master cylinder.
