Instrument Panel Speedometer/odometer problems of the 2006 Honda Pilot

Odometer fraud. The contact purchased a 2006 Honda Pilot. The contact stated that while attempting to register the vehicle, it was discovered that there was a mileage discrepancy. The vehicle was a private sale. At the time of purchase, the vehicle mileage was approximately 87,300; however, the carfax report obtained during an oil change service listed the mileage at 356,382 in February 2026.

Odometer fraud. The contact purchased a 2006 Honda Pilot. The contact stated that after an oil change service, it was discovered that there was a mileage discrepancy from a carfax report. The vehicle was a private sale. At the time of purchase, the mileage was 133,000; however, the carfax report indicated that the mileage was 227,000.
