Front Driver Side Air Bag Inflator Problems of Honda Ridgeline

Takata inflators I took my truck in for recalls but now red light (bag inflator) is on that means they are not on. I talked to Honda they said could be some dirt in my seat belt latch? it comes on as soon as I put my seat belt on.

My srs light is on. . . Service tech had several codes : 11-40open in drivers air bag inflator and 41-11 no signal from impact the light actuated after the completion of the air bag recall service. The estimated cost is $1666 to repair I want Honda motors and/or tagatta (?) to make the repair at their cost. Date first appeared is not known. . . . . I entered 1-1-18 below. . . . . Might have been earlier or later.

Takata recall - received a recall notice for the driver side airbag in March 2016 (16v-061) and then a passenger side airbag in July 2016 (16v-344). In July, I requested the dealer put me on a list to address the recall. Three months later, and my dealership still does not have the parts to fix the airbag inflator issue. Furthermore, the dealer stated that Honda was no longer providing an alternative form of transportation while waiting for the parts.

Specifically, in some vehicles, the driver's front airbag inflator could produce excessive internal pressure upon deployment. If an affected airbag deploys, the increased internal pressure may cause the inflator to rupture (break apart) and deploy abnormally. I got this recall in Feb 12, 2016 how long do I have to wait to get taken care of, before something happens?.

Takata inflators: I had service performed for the takata airbag issue on or about July 13. Within a month the srs unit light came on. I took it in to lucas Honda, where I bought the Ridgeline. After a few days of them not finding the problem, they came back to me and said the srs unit was bad and they had to replace it. It is not covered under warranty and it would cost me $700. + to fix it. I vehemently protested that it had to be from the recall work performed, but they said that there was no indication that it was. I feel that their repair caused the srs unit to fail at my expense.

I was notified in April of the airbag deployment device recall by mail with indication that my local dealer would contact me. I contacted perfection Honda in albuquerque, 898-0000, in early July after no one called me and they said they would have to order it but were having trouble getting them. I have checked back every month since then and the part is not available. I contacted Honda north America 9/5/2016 and they said they cannot help that my only option is to wait until perfection Honda called me after receiving the part. So it is now 5 months later and I still have a defective inflator and no resolution in sight. This is a great safety concern and no one seems to be willing to or able to help??!! is this vehicle safe to operate on the roads? what's the risk? what can you do?.

Takata inflators. Notified in March. Dealer has had vehicle since April 2 to date. Unable to tow my boat with loaner vehicle. Have missed most of this fishing season. I'm upset, I bought a truck for the express purpose of towing my boat. Recourse?.

Takata recall: I received the first letter of recall from american Honda on Mar 29, 2016 followed by another letter on July 19, 2016. Enough to mention that I have hardly driven my truck since Apr 1, 2016! these two letters were followed by several calls by the american Honda on June 30, July 07, July 18, July 29, & Aug 17; 2016 informing me that my nearest Honda dealer would call me to offer a rental vehicle before both -- driver's side & passenger side -- airbag inflators are replaced. Except for the fact that they replaced my driver's side inflator on July 20, 2016, nothing has been offered to me so far. It was the only vehicle that I had until July 6th, 2016 -- after which I had to buy a small car on my own as a remedy because I didn't want to take the risk -- explained to me by the american Honda on the above-listed dates. The question is it what they call 'the trick of the trade' to abuse the customers in the name of fulfilling their obligations? the only favor they did to me was that a guy -- namely, donald in the Honda of spring -- apologized to me for not offering any vehicle on July 19, 2016. That's all what I have heard from them. This is while I generally go there every month for the elementary checkups such as oil, air pressure, etc. . And they know me quite well. . . Shame on the custodians of the rule of law!!!.

2012 Honda Ridgeline sport. Consumer writes requesting a status update on drivers front airbag inflator recall. The consumer stated a reasnable amount of time had exceeded for the recall to be completed. The consumer would like an update.

I havent received a response from Honda since March 2016. The remedy was supposed to take place during the summer of 2016. Front airbag inflator.

Takata recall dealer would not let me drive off the lot without signing a waiver after service work. Tufankjian Honda of Plymouth formerly autofaire. They could not provide a comparable rental vehicle. I was forced to sign a Honda takata airbag inflator replacement vehicle intensions/storage owner indemnification agreement. Repair parts unavailable until mid June.

Takata inflators it is 10/28/2016 and nothing has been done to correct the problem.

I received a letter from Honda in July 2016 stating that my passenger-side airbag was recalled due to a faulty inflator. The letter states that replacement parts "will become available in late summer/fall of 2016. " we are now into the third week of January 2017, and when I spoke with Honda last week I was told that parts were still not available. I have not been able to transport passengers for 6 months and Honda could give me no estimate as to when I can expect my vehicle to be repaired.
