Radio/tape Cd Player Problems of Honda Ridgeline

I was listening to sirius radio with the truck bed audio on. I could not turn off truck bed audio. The off button had no effect. I could not figure out how to turn off the audio completely. I drove to store a few miles away. I traveled at 70 m/h. Truck bed audio still on. I turned off the vehicle to go in store, returned, and truck bed audio still on. I traveled 5 more miles at 80 m/h and truck bed audio still on. When I viewed the home screen truck bed audio was grayed out. I pushed every button I could find and finally when parked, at a drive through, it turned off. I do not recall the sequence of buttons I pushed. Anyway, not sure if it was the button pushing that finally ended the event. I am now afraid to use the truck bed audio. I am afraid if I cannot turn it off it will run down my battery.

Xm satellite radio volume is lower and has less bass than other sources. However, loading a cd in the changer and temporarily switching to cd then back to xm after every restart brings the bass, volume, and clarity back to expectations. Dozens of others are complaining of the same issue on forums and messages boards. I should not have to perform a "workaround" by cycling through modes on the radio after each restart just to have decent xm sound quality.

On August 15, I purchased a Honda Ridgeline 2006 from my local dealer. Although the vehicle performs well, the Honda music link ipod adapter was a waste of $475. 00. The Honda music link is almost impossible to use and is actually a hazard to safe driving.
