My vehicle was involved in a collision yesterday that broke both headlights, buckled hood, knocked the engine in to the transmission, and busted the front fan and coolant. The airbags didn't deploy and neither did the seat belt lock. The driver was injured with his lip, nose and forehead busted because the safety features didn't work on this vehicle.
Headlight bulbs keep failing in a rapid and repetitive succession, first incident occurred few weeks after purchase and now while I'm writing this on 2/21/2014 I'm on bulb number 7. I've had the car in at the dealer twice, each service took 2 hours and they were not able to find anything, independent tests confirmed that a voltage spike was occurring which could be causing the bulbs to fail, perhaps from faulty voltage regulator. This is a safety issue at this point because twice the headlight bulbs failed at night, both times on a highway, once with pouring down rain and other time was while passing throughout appalachian mountains. I should mention that high beam was not affected.

The vehicle was taken to the dealer for inspection where they stated that the failure was normal and advised the contact to turn on the high beam headlights for 45 minutes in order for the water to evaporate. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified but provided no assistance. The failure mileage was 11.
2003 Hyundai Accent. Right headlight doesn't work. I replaced the headlight two or three times, however it still doesn't work. Wiring harness is in a position that the wire is too tight and can't be adjusted or repaired. Not sufficient slack in wiring harness.
